2nd Line Support - Training in DevOps / Big Data
2nd Line Support Engineer required for an exciting opportunity based in Farnborough
You will provide 2nd line support to a variety of mission critical applications on a 24x7 basis. The role will be customer facing in a DevOps environment where you will be trained in a variety of DevOps practices and tools.
You will have the following skills and experience:
A strong knowledge of Linux
A desire to learn new technologies.
Experience of supporting a variety of applications
Interested in Docker and Hadoop
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and passionate 2nd line professional to gain exposure to Big Data and Dev Ops technologies and grow their skill set.
Initially this role will be Monday to Friday 08:00 to 16:00 but will move to a rota of 4 days 08:00 - 20:00, 4 days of nights 20:00 - 08:00 and then 4 days off.
