My client, a specialist in healthcare data analytics are looking to supplement their existing team by adding a new Platform Infrastructure Engineer. A growing organisation with circa 100 staff, have made a real impression on the medical industry by creating a cloud based data analytics platform which allows healthcare professionals to collaborate and correlate their data from around the world. It is very cutting edge, and of course, given the industry, has a very ethical focus.
Technically, my client utilise a fair range of technologies - Linux RedHat & CentOS, MS Server, Kubernetes and Docker for Containerization, Azure, Chef, Puppet and Ansible for Configuration Management, and Various scripting languages (Ruby, Perl, Powershell, Python), VMware.
To be considered for this role, you will have demonstrable experience in the majority of the above technologies, but there is a real focus on adding Kubernetes and Docker experience to the existing team.
With pretty impressive recent growth with new offices in Glasgow, and Netherlands recently, my client are really looking to capitalise on their position as one of the market leaders in their industry.
Although ideally being able to hit the ground running, you will receive extensive training, and of course exposure to some of the latest technologies. You will be working in a close knit team where you will be given opportunities to not only utilise your full skill set, but also diversify and pick up new skills.
