Key Skills/ Experience:
- Demonstrable experience of working in a Data Architect role which includes architecting Cloud Data Platform solutions and cloud migrations
- Comfortable with serverless solutions and cloud security
- Experience of architecting and building data solutions, with technologies like Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, ETL, RDBMS, Event Driven, SQL Server, Teradata, SAS, data-lake
- Experience of Data Migration, Transformation and Data Cleansing
- Excellent Data Modelling skills
- Expert with container technologies
- Architectural knowledge of message based information flows
- Comfortable in a client-facing role which involves stakeholder management

The Role:
You will play an integral role in leading Data Architecture development for clients from a range of different industries. You will be involved from requirements analysis right through to implementation. You will define and own the data strategy for projects which will be varied, including cloud, on-prem and hybrid solutions and will also include data modelling and security.
There is a real emphasis on the value that clients get from proper face-to-face interaction, and in turn the value that this can provide to you in this role – and to help you create amazing solutions to problems and pain points that they face. As such, there is an excellent opportunity for on-site visits with clients (when safe to do so) – allowing you to truly see the impact of the work that you are doing.
The Ideal Candidate:
You will be a highly skilled, client facing Data Architect with excellent Cloud Data Platform experience (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform). Ideally you will have a strong application and data background with an appreciation of industry standards for Enterprise Architecture. You will be confident with data migration, transformation, data cleansing and will ideally also have some knowledge of master data management products and tools.
You will be able to communicate with your wider technical team as well as managing relationships with clients.
