Role: Deployment and Support Engineer

Location: Edinburgh (Hybrid)

About the company

Our client specialises in delivering automated imaging solutions in the medical field, aiding professionals in healthcare provide diagnostic value and improving outcomes for patients. With an Edinburgh based office, and expansion to new premises to support continual growth, they are looking for a Deployment and Support Engineer to join the hands-on team and support the growing capabilities of the company.

The role

Required Knowledge / Experience


  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • 2 years’ experience in delivering great-quality customer support.
  • Good communication and building customer relationships.


  • Software Engineering, Computer Science degree or equivalent is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of Linux (Sys-admin and scripting) and Docker.
  • Experience of Network and Firewall troubleshooting.
  • Solid interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with stakeholders (external) and team (internal).
  • Ability to troubleshoot .NET applications and/or integrated scripts.
  • Knowledge of medical imaging, healthcare IT systems and informatics is advantageous (DICOM, HL7, FHIR).


  • 37.5 hour working week
  • 34 days annual leave, inclusive of public holidays
