Desktop Support / Build Engineer
Livingston, maybe some days in Edinburgh
Contract - 3 months initially
My client, an instantly recognisable, and global luxury brand name, have an urgent requirement for an experienced Desktop Support Engineer to join their team in their Edinburgh Office. This is a great opportunity to be given the chance to mentor a junior member of the team, and also take the lead on some technical deployments. You will gain exposure to production environments, but experience of Server and Networks is not a pre-requisite for consideration.
You will be a self-starter requiring little leadership, and be motivated to continue to learn, develop, and progress - there are potential opportunities to make this role a permanent position longer term. You will demonstrate great customer service, and an ability to support end users face to face.
To be considered for this role, you will have key technical experience in the following:
- 1L / 2L Desktop Support & workstation builds
- Dell hardware
- Apple Mobile Devices
- MS
- O365
You will also demonstrate excellent communication, and stakeholder management skills.
