We have an exciting opportunity for a HR Business Partner (HRBP) to lead the HR agenda within key Professional Services areas, including Audit, Tax, and Accounting. In this role, you will be instrumental in driving the people strategy and supporting organisational goals through building strong relationships and having a clear understanding of business and commercial needs. You will work closely with Business Unit Heads to foster a dynamic, fast-paced environment that rewards, retains, and develops a diverse and inclusive workforce.
Reporting to the Lead HR Business Partner, you will collaborate with other HRBPs and support teams such as Finance, while working directly with your Business Unit Heads to ensure a high-quality, solutions-focused service is consistently delivered.
This role will be the primary HR contact for our Ireland offices and part of a small team of HRBPs servicing other professional disciplines across England and Scotland. You should be comfortable working both face-to-face and remotely via Teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with Business Unit Heads to ensure operational and financial goals are achieved through effective people management and strategic people plans
- Provide proactive, professional HR support and advice to managers and team members
- Lead change management processes, including due diligence and post-acquisition integration
- Enhance team engagement and foster a sense of connectedness to the wider organisation
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver high-quality HR programmes, policies, processes, and systems across the organisation
- Manage employee relations cases such as performance management, absence, grievance, and disciplinary matters
- Deliver training and development on people practices and HR initiatives
- Ensure accurate people data management and maintain up-to-date records
- Analyse people data to identify trends and develop people-focused solutions
Required Experience and Skills:
- CIPD or equivalent professional HR qualification
- Proven experience as an HR Business Partner supporting a variety of stakeholder groups within a professional environment
- Experience with mergers and acquisitions (pre- and post-integration)
- Strong background in change management, organisational development, and workforce planning
- Ability to work cross-functionally and collaboratively, delivering people solutions within a changing environment
- Commercial mindset with strong business acumen
- In-depth knowledge of employment legislation in both Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland
- Experience handling employee relations cases and payroll processes
- Empathetic and ethical approach to resolving people-related issues
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Valid driving licence and willingness to travel between offices
This role will involve travel to office locations across Ireland and occasionally to our offices in Scotland and England.
