Infrastructure Engineer 

Glasgow (Hybrid)

 

The role is with a powerful video technology provider that empowers organisations with the business intelligence needed to make mission critical decisions. Revolutionary, low-bandwidth video optimised for cloud and cellular allows companies to understand more about their people and places without the need for additional hardware.

 

Overview of Role The successful candidate will take full ownership of IT support to employees, on-premise and remote. They will be responsible for the administration, maintenance, and support of networks and infrastructure throughout the business. This role is based in Glasgow but may require infrequent travel to other sites as required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of daily IT service operations 

• Assist with technical projects

• Assist with delivering the IT Strategy and Roadmap Essential Requirements

• Solid experience with supporting Windows, Mac and Linux OS – Server and Desktop

• Solid experience supporting complex networks and infrastructure

• Current experience with administering virtualisation technologies

• Cloud infrastructure administration – Azure and AWS

• Experience supporting remote offices

• Relevant technical qualifications

 

Security Clearance UK Security Clearance:

Successful candidates may be required to meet security requirements for this role before they can be appointed. You must have rights to work in the UK, and able to gain UK security clearances. Candidates will be required to have or obtain security vetting to Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) level as part of the recruitment offer process.
