My client, a Glasgow family run organisation who have grown to become a global leader in their industry, are currently in the early stages of a new phase of expansion. With a new Global Head of IT, he has taken it upon himself to focus on key technical areas of the business with a view to either improve or build on what was already there. 

One such business stream is customer support and IT helpdesk. As well as a number of 2nd Line Support Engineers, we are also looking to support the 1st Line Support function as well. 

To be considered for this role, you will have a positive and keen to learn personality. My client wants to invest in your long term career, so a willingness to advance and continue developing is key. You will have strong organisation skills with a genuine interest in technology and customer service.

Ideally experience in a similar role is desired, but full training will be provided. On saying that, an advanced understanding of Windows Desktop Support and mobile phone device administration would be very advantageous.

Candidates must hold a valid driving license, and may be required to work on a rota / shift basis. 

You will also hold a relative degree or certification to at least S/NVQ level in IT or a related study.
