The Certified ServiceNow Administrator will manage and oversee the day to day configuration of the Companys ServiceNow instance, performing design and implementation activities to meet the requirements of the Group.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day to day configuration of the ServiceNow instance including access control within required security confines.
  • Establish and manage the development backlog for all new functional requirements.
  • Manage an outsourced development team to complete the prioritised backlog in line with delivery commitments.
  • Complete enhancements and updates to meet changing business needs; including toolset enhancements that will improve user experience and overall performance
  • Recommend improvement opportunities and undertake standard housekeeping and fine tuning under change control
  • Provide technical administration and support for the Companys ServiceNow instance including all modules: ITSM, SAM, HR, SecOps, Discovery, Integration Hub
  • Ideally if you have scripting skills that is highly preferable 


Experienced necessary for this opportunity;

  • Expert in ServiceNow best practices, able to resolve typical issues on large scale implementations, built from multiple implementations and demonstrable experience
  • At least 5 years ServiceNow large-scale, multi-geography ServiceNow implementation experience with a major implementation vendor or SI.  Overall, minimum of 10 years experience in IT
  • Experience in managing a small development team and of prioritizing and managing a development/configuration backlog
  • Hands-on experience of implementing and configuring the following ServiceNow modules; Incident Management, Change and Release Management, Problem Management, Service Catalog, User Administration, Reporting, Software Asset Management (SAM), HR, SecOps, Discovery, Integration Hub
  • Provides expertise, management, leadership, and oversight for architecture, design and implementation of ServiceNow solutions including new applications, modules and integrations
  • Understands standards for the ServiceNow governance related to best practices for defining configurations vs customisations, migration, environments, management of groups/users, integrations and data management
  • Holds the latest ServiceNow certifications in System Administration (CSA) and Implementation Specialist (CIS)
  • Understands interface and dataset configuration into ServiceNow from third party system (e.g. using Web Services, Import Sets etc)
  • Working knowledge of implementing and managing the ITSM Platform within the ITIL framework
