Network Engineer

Permanent (circa £45k) and Contract (circa £400 p/day) available
As UK market leader in their industry, with over 30 years' of innovation, and growth by acquisition, as well as product diversification, my client are primed to expand into new markets.
At present, they have an urgent requirement for an experienced Network Engineer to join their team in the Edinburgh HQ. This role is available as a contract initially whilst we source a suitable permanent candidate, there is also the possibility to go temp to perm, and with IR35 changes coming in to force, this could be a fantastic opportunity to secure long term employment.
The role is going to be primarily project based, focused on SaaS infrastructure, but also requiring full knowledge of networking, applications, and hybrid cloud.
To be considered for these roles, you will have solid experience in the following:
- Cisco Firewalls and Switches (to CCNP, or CCIE level - certificate desirable)
- Checkpoint Firewalls (CCSA, CCSE, or CCSM)
- Disaster Recovery
- Hybrid Cloud
- IDS. IPS and other security solutions
- WiFi monitoring / management (ideally Meraki)
- VPN
- Network Diagnostics
You will offered a great deal of autonomy, working in a high-tempo, but relatively low pressure environment.
