Exciting new opportunity for a Product Owner to come on board and own a portfolio of around 7-8 embedded Products are at the forefront of public safety.

I'm looking for someone who is passionate about the Product function within the software world and who can help develop the core software solutions for a wide range of users

The role is hybrid with 2/3 days in the office however this is flexible and they are absolutely a people first business who promote a healthy work life balance. This is a business where recognition is promoted and success is celebrated.

The Job:

  • Engage with the business and stakeholders, to produce product visions and roadmaps.
  • Engage with the development teams, to produce well maintained, ordered backlogs, to deliver value across the portfolio.
  • Make timely and decisive decisions regarding product scope and schedule.
  • Understand the product domain.
  • Ensure Product Backlogs are visible, transparent, and understood by all stakeholders.

Skills and experience:

  • Product Owner certification (scrum.org or Scrum Alliance)
  • A minimum of 18 months hands-on, post-certification experience in an Agile software development environment
  • MSc or BSc in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related discipline
  • Good knowledge of embedded software systems
  • Knowledge of agile software development and management best practices, including build environments and automated testing
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to proactively articulate product roadmap, vision, Product Backlog Items and progress to a wide audience, including the business, product stakeholders, and the development teams
  • English language skills at level allowing efficient and effective communication
  • Self-motivated, positive attitude, an ability and desire to motivate others
  • Experience of Azure DevOps (or similar) is highly desirable
