Project Manager

Central Belt Scotland

Flexible working / office and home based 

This is a new Project Manager role with a growing well known company they are lookig to double the size of their technology team. 

With several projects ongoing this PM will be working with the key stakeholders and the Development teams, therefore it is important that as a PM you have worked with formal methologies and have a solid understanding of SDLC (Software Development Lifecycle) and have knowledge of IT risk assessments, continuity management and best practice governance models and principles.

If you have any experience of setting up a PMO function this would be highly advantageous as is having experience with Salesforce (again not essential)

The role will include;

  • Organise and plan projects and programmes in a cross-functional environment to ensure they are set up for a successful delivery
  • Ensure projects are appropriately planned in line with delivery models
  • Establish accurate project forecast estimates
  • Agree and manage the project scope and objectives
  • Work with project team members to identify and schedule project milestones
  • Encourage knowledge transfer between members of the project team
  • Lead the project team to determine the deliverable outcomes and benefits of the project
  • Build strong, collaborative relationships with the various departmental stakeholders and manage their expectations
  • Provide regular project progress reporting to key stakeholders and Heads of Department
  • Monitor and control resources, revenue and capital costs against the project budget
  • Organise and distribute work to 3rd party suppliers in line with requirements
  • Conduct regular reviews to provide honest feedback and support development
