Role: QA Manager

Location: Edinburgh

 

The Company

Net Talent have partnered with a medium sized technology company located in Edinburgh and have offices in Bristol, who are renowned for software and robotics products used by clients globally. They are looking to hire a Quality Assurance Manager to join them in the Edinburgh office.

The Role

Leading the delivery of a strong and efficient quality management system throughout the company, you will be an integral part of the operations team and can take ownership of the client’s quality management system, developing and enhancing all procedures. Other responsibilities include:

 

  • Collaboration with the company’s key stakeholders and achieving business quality objectives
  • Create and define policies and procedures throughout a range of business actions
  • Lead and manage the quality assurance team – delivering continuous enhancements and meeting compliance standards
  • Implement, maintain, review, and improve management systems
  • Represent the client at all times – both internally and externally at quality audits

 

Required Skills / Experience

Essential:

  • Previous experience working with quality management systems in software development environment – relevant knowledge of quality assurance standards such as: ISO 9001, ISO 27001 or TickITplus
  • Previous working experience of people management
  • Ability working to tight deadlines and able to manage time efficiently
  • Strong team player – flexible attitude to work priorities
  • Exceptional verbal / written communication (including ability to deliver presentation and training)
  • Adaptable and ability to work cross-functionally – guiding the department/company in all aspects of quality assurance

Desirable:

  • Understanding of managing quality assurance in a software business utilizing Agile methodologies
  • Understanding of information security management systems
