This full stack engineer opportunity is with a highly successful tech-for-good company that creates digital platforms within their specialised sector, helping to create SaaS workspaces for data & information sharing in order to improve people’s lives. It is a small, tight-knit company that prizes strong communicators with a passion for learning, with a mix of office (Scottish central belt) & remote staff. This opportunity is remote just now but in long-term can be either entirely remote, office based, or mixed – depending on candidate preference.
Key Skills & Experience
- Ruby or Ruby on Rails development (or strong Python or Java developers with an interest of moving into Ruby)
- Full stack capability with Javascript
- Experience within public cloud or devops environment
- Linux familiarity & knowledge
- Awareness of SQL/NoSQL database development
- Agile scrum methodology
- All candidates (remote included) must have right to work in UK/EU
