The Role:
This is a newly created role, forming a key part of a considered approach to company growth.
You will have the autonomy to really drive this role in your vision, with the support of the senior team and the growing security team as well as working closely with the core product development team.
Your role will be varied, and will range from definition and implementation of tools, frameworks and standards for software development, ongoing reviews, managing cyber security issues, providing ongoing training.
A key focus will be really getting to grips with the environment as it is, going through a period of investigation to then design and implement the architecture moving forward.
The Person:
Aside from being an experienced application security analyst with a proactive approach to understanding the evolving security landscape, there are a few key things which will allow this person to be successful in the role. As the first person to be in this position – you need to be confident, a leader. You need to be the type of person with a vision for technology that can also positively influence people in a way that will get company-wide buy-in for what you are trying to achieve.
