Senior Business Analyst

Contract - 6 months initially

£550 max p/day

Fully Remote (Europe or North America), with a global remit

The client, a supply chain and logistics organisation, are in the very early stages of a major global IT transformation programme, with a long term cloud first strategy.

They require two very experienced Business Analysts to instigate the first steps of this transformation - discovery, as-is, process mapping, application environment mapping, workshops, strategy, vendor and stakeholder negotiation etc, and then to potentially see the programme through to final release and implementation.

Exceptional experience of migrating global enterprise data centres to cloud within a digital transformation programme along with fantastic exposure to Azure and AWS is critical to the success of this position.

The client requires someone who has 'been there done that', who knows what to expect, the challenges faced, and how to overcome them already. The below is absolutely essential to the role, candidates cannot be considered without the following experience:

  • 10 years + Application Generalist that has worked with ERP, CRM, Business Intelligence, Supply Chain, Portal, Integration, and IT Infrastructure applications
  • 10 years + global data centre migration
  • 4 years + data centre to cloud migration
  • 10+ years senior BA providing end to end analysis and delivery
  • Experience with projects to migrate hundreds of applications to cloud landscapes (this engagement targets over 200+ applications)
  • Understanding what requirements need to be addressed and questions need to be answered for successful migration to the cloud
  • Integration and process diagram documentation
  • Experience with Azure/AWS cloud landscapes
  • Experience driving user acceptance testing
  • Exceptional stakeholder and vendor management

As the successful candidate, you will know what to expect from an engagement of this scale, and be able to hit the ground running. A solid relationship builder, and dependable to make key decisions without requiring leadership. You will be a strong negotiator and comfortable working with key vendors to determine cost savings, upgrades and dependencies.

The whole programme is slated to run until the end of 2021, so there is scope for extension should your skill set fit the next stages of the requirement.

Candidates should be available to start in mid-July, and interview ASAP.

To apply, please submit an up to date CV via the relevant application links.

As this role can be based from home, throughout Europe or North America, we expect a large number of applications, as such we can only respond to those who are most suitable.
