Role: Senior Quality Engineer

They are looking to hire a Senior Quality Engineer to join the engineering department.
The Role
Reporting to the Quality Engineering Lead or Test Director, as the Senior Quality Engineer you will have a sound understanding of software testing practices, concepts and standards that fall within the Quality Assurance Field. Implementing the highest quality standards within the Mobile team, inclusive of native IOS, Android, and back-end services, you will deliver product testing and championing quality.
- Work within the Agile team / QE team
- Design and implementation of testing strategies and requirements of automation testing
- Development of testing for automation systems / scripts to implement maximum coverage on products
- Contribution to integration, documentation, usability and function testing
- Installation and support of software applications and operating systems, working in multiple test settings
- Implement verification / validation processes and support testing activities for releases
- Using defect tracking tooling to confirm and track abilities for severity prioritizing
- Facilitate customer phone calls to aid, diagnose and solve issues
Skills and Experience
Essential
- Experience using test case management systems, defect reporting systems, and version control systems
- Experience installing and implementing software in various environments
- Experience with database management systems
- Experience in identifying test scenarios – 3 amigos / agile practices
- Experience of automation frameworks
- Experience of testing Mobile and web-based technologies – JSON, XML, RESTful or similar
Desirable
- Knowledge / experience of API testing, building automated testing – Postman or parallel tools
- Experience with Jenkins / Git
- Experience of measuring and reporting code and test coverage, and continuous integration
Qualifications
- ISTQB-ISEB Foundation Certificate in software testing or similar
- Experience in Agile SDLC methods
