This role is for either a mid or senior level software engineer who is a fantastic problem solver and who likes freedom in the way they code. Although there are basic requirements listed below you need not be beholden to one tech stack in particular and design leeway as there will be plenty of scope with the team leader and within the team to solve problems in different ways. You will be working on a large-scale & challenging modernization project for a company that are specialists in digital delivery.
You will be part of a DevOps team that is responsible for creating, developing, & managing business platforms. This role is a full-stack role although it leans heavier on the back-end.
Technical & Personal Profile:
- The programmer would have a decent background in Python (or Java or Golang).
- Some JavaScript experience would be a nice bonus but won’t be focus of the role.
- Someone that enjoys problem solving, and is passionate about solutioning. Can you can take a mundane sounding problem and make it interesting through creative service design/implementation?
- Not afraid to try something new including new languages or alternative solutions to problems.
- Strong understanding of modern development processes and toolchains (familiarity with DevOps culture ideal).
- Strong communicator & not scared to have an opinion.
- It's important that you want to grow professionally, that might be improving your skills as a developer or improving your platform-level understanding.
