SOFTWARE TEST ENGINEER

£300 - 350 per day

This role is a great contract opportunity for talented software testers who enjoy working in fast-paced product-driven software environments. With increased demand on the product, this contract has been released to ensure that the software standards remains consistently high. Working within a phenomenally talented team in an open and tech-mad culture, you’ll have a chance to improve as a technical tester whilst learning about one of Scotland’s most successful software companies. You will be performing a mixture of manual and automation testing on market-leading mobile applications.
Requirements
- Direct software testing experience within an agile development team.
- Previous examples of testing on mobile devices or mobile applications, preferably working both front & back-end.
- Exposure to automation testing, at minimum this would mean engagement with team members responsible for automation engineering. If you have maintained automation frameworks and scripted on already established test functions then great; if you have implemented your own framework then fantastic.
- Also a strong functional tester & exploratory tester.
- Database testing history also beneficial.
- British passport or ILR at minimum.
