Overview:
This opportunity will find you working at a global tech consultancy with a fantastic international reputation, a huge workforce, and with access to some exceptionally important enterprise-level projects. In this particular case you’ll be in a highly influential leadership role with responsibility for the direction of the entire test function within a large-scale integration programme that affects hundreds of millions of people every year. You would be heading up a team of around 40 engineers with team leads reporting into you.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Strong experience of large systems integration programmes
- Very strong experience (ideally around a decade) of test management, planning, & execution, again ideally within large-scale projects/ programmes
- Ideally experienced in complex cloud, virtualisation, or data centre migration environments
- Extensive testing background, particularly in system & integration testing, as well as automation
- Strong grasp of testing methodologies, strategies, & best practice
- Leadership or architecture experience a must
- Very strong communicator & organiser
Bonus Skills and Experience:
- Past history of working in safety related environment, or mission critical systems
- Exposure to legacy systems transitioning to new capabilities
- Knowledge of SDLC & wide range of testing (web services, load, stress, performance)
- Previous service management or consulting expereince
