2nd Line IT Support Engineer

Glasgow (onsite)

1 month rolling contract / insideIR35

 

Net Talent are partnered with an organisation based in Glasgow who are looking to hire a 2nd line support engineer. This position would be onsite providing technical support to internal employees across the business.

 

Required Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience as a 2nd Line IT Support Engineer or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems.
  • Experience with network troubleshooting and administration (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
  • Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
  • Proficiency in managing Active Directory and Group Policy.
  • Experience with cloud services (Azure, AWS) is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
