The Vacancy
This role provides opportunities to become a subject matter expert on our financial models, owning modelling approaches and contributing to team learning and development.
You will:
- Build your skills in model development with a focus on Actuarial models and supporting systems.
- Work on a variety of software including roll forward models, asset liability models and products we license to clients
- Work in an Actuarial-focused role.
- Help the development team understand the requirements of complex financial calculations.
- Build an understanding of system design and risk issues relevant to existing financial models.
- Work within a multi-disciplinary team alongside actuarial modelling experts.
- Word with the latest technologies to facilitate innovation.
About You
To succeed in, and enjoy this role, you are likely to have:
- Experience with actuarial calculations, in particular working on pension schemes.
- Experience working as an Actuarial Analyst or Trainee Actuary (part-qualified).
- Experience of modern systems development and continuous improvement of systems.
- Awareness of the Microsoft development stack and an interest in developing your R skills.
