Role Overview: Idea for Graduate Data Scientist;

We are seeking a highly motivated and curious Graduate Data Scientist to join our growing team. This is an ideal opportunity for a recent graduate looking to kickstart their career by working on real-world problems, developing advanced analytics, and contributing to innovative product features from day one.

As a Graduate Data Scientist, you’ll be involved in everything from model development to field testing, supporting cross-functional teams and helping shape how data is used across the business.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and refine machine learning models to support product innovation and performance analysis
  • Collaborate with the R&D and Data teams to test and validate product ideas using real-world datasets
  • Participate in field testing to collect and evaluate raw data, ensuring it is accurate, consistent, and usable
  • Support the development of production-ready data features and pipelines
  • Create internal tools, dashboards, and visualisations to improve decision-making and operational efficiency
  • Contribute to data quality assurance, code reviews, and best practices for scalable, maintainable analytics solutions

Essential Requirements:

  • A degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related discipline
  • Strong knowledge of Python and experience working with version control tools such as Git/GitHub
  • Solid foundation in statistics, linear algebra, and calculus
  • Understanding of software engineering principles, clean code, and testing best practices
  • Ability to communicate clearly and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams

Desirable Skills (Nice to Have):

  • Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with a major cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
  • Experience working with wearable sensor data or time-series data
  • Personal or academic projects that combine sport and data
