Net Talent Partners is delighted to work with Raven Controls as their Fractional Talent Partner for a Permanent Group Financial Controller  Glasgow, Scotland. This role is ideal for a driven and experienced finance professional with a strong background in financial leadership at the director level.  Raven Controls are recognised for its commitment to excellence and fostering a collaborative work environment where innovation and strategic thinking are highly valued. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing the financial health of the organisation, ensuring compliance, and supporting impactful decision-making across the group.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the preparation and presentation of accurate financial reports for the group, ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead and develop the finance team, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
  • Support strategic planning initiatives by providing insightful financial analysis and forecasts.
  • Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes across the organisation.
  • Ensure robust financial controls and governance frameworks are in place to safeguard company assets.
  • Collaborate with other senior leaders to drive operational efficiency and financial performance.
  • Coordinate external audits and liaise with auditors to ensure a smooth and compliant audit process.
  • Monitor key financial metrics and provide actionable insights to support business growth and risk management.

Candidate Profile

  • Proven experience in a senior financial leadership role, ideally with Group or International exposure.
  • Must have worked within a SaaS  and have Data Room experience 
  • Experience at Director level or equivalent, demonstrating strategic vision and operational expertise.
  • Strong understanding of UK accounting standards, tax regulations, and governance frameworks.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
  • A recognised accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA would be advantageous.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
