We are seeking a skilled Network Infrastructure Support Specialist to join our dynamic IT team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of our backend IT systems and network infrastructure. The successful candidate will provide hands-on 3rd line operational support and assist in the implementation of new systems and technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- BAU Support: Handle day-to-day tasks to support all backend IT systems.
- Operational Support: Provide top-level support for the network infrastructure.
- Troubleshooting: Respond to, troubleshoot, and resolve network issues raised via our ticketing system.
- Network Management: Ensure the effective and efficient running of the BAU network globally.
- WAN and LAN Technologies: Collaborate and assist in top-level support for WAN and LAN technologies.
- Security Standards: Ensure the network meets required security standards and controls.
- Vendor Collaboration: Work with 3rd party vendors to identify root cause analysis on support issues.
- Documentation: Produce support documentation and technical implementation plans.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with teams based in different locations.
- Compliance: Ensure all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in network infrastructure support.
- Strong troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent writing skills for documentation and technical plans.
- Experience in secure and restrictive enterprise environments.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teams in different locations.
