Project Manager

Overview:
We are seeking an interim Project and Change Manager to oversee several key operational projects within our organization. This pivotal role reports directly to the CEO and works closely with the steering committee and various workstreams to ensure projects are executed effectively and in compliance with organizational standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning: Develop and implement a detailed project plan covering all phases from initiation to closure, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
  • Team Leadership: Provide guidance and support to Workstream Leads and team members, fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary liaison for all project-related matters, maintaining clear and consistent communication with all stakeholders.
  • Progress Monitoring: Regularly track and report project progress against established milestones and deliverables to the Project Steering Committee and the Board.
  • Risk Management: Proactively identify potential risks, assess their impact, and implement strategies to mitigate them effectively.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all project activities comply with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Change Management: Lead change management efforts, assisting the organization in adjusting to new operational practices and models.
  • Project Evaluation: Assess project outcomes upon completion, providing insights and recommendations for future improvements.

Person Specification:

  • Experience: Proven track record as a project manager in a medium-sized organization, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Leadership: Exceptional leadership abilities with experience managing cross-functional teams and multi-disciplinary projects.
  • Communication Skills: Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse groups of stakeholders.
  • Strategic Acumen: Strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving and negotiation capabilities.
  • Project Management: Skilled in managing complex projects with multiple interdependencies and tight deadlines.
