DevOps/ Technical Support Engineer

Circa £40,000


Overview of Opportunity:

This is an opportunity to take ownership of a wide remit of responsibilities for an innovative, small and highly successful SaaS company that will give you room to grow.


The DevOps aspect of the role will see you working with the internal development teams to bridge the services in different areas in application services and development. The other two key aspects of the role are the helpdesk-type customer support functions and the infrastructure focused components – configuration/ administration of Active Directory/ Servers/ Networking.


Key Skills/ Experience:

  • Experienced with DevOps/ DevOps practices
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Analytical ability
  • Detailed knowledge of Microsoft Server Platforms (SQL Server and IIS Server)
  • Experience with performance monitoring tools
  • Understanding of information Security Management
  • Infrastructure (servers, network, security, web applications)
  • Any knowledge of AWS and Jira is a bonus

There has to be a real focus on taking responsibility for all activities relating to customer support including service desk, problem and incident management, application support, reporting and any escalation as and when required. Beyond that, strong DevOps skills will be required to make this a success.
