Net Talent are partnered with a Glasgow based market leader who is looking to recruit a Data Engineer to join the organisation.
We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient, reliable data delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement scalable data pipelines.
- Optimize ETL processes for timely data delivery.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to meet business needs.
- Ensure data governance, security, and privacy.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues.
- Working with technical stakeholders and helping mentor and up-skill members of the team
Qualifications & Experienced required
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Proven hands-on experience in data engineering.
- Proficiency in Azure Data Factory, Pentaho Integrator and Apache Hop etc
- Hands on Software engineering skills across design, testing, deployment, documentation and CI/CD.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like Azure.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
