DevOps Engineer

A climate tech company which helps businesses source renewable energy sources and is used by large corporations to improve company’s carbon footprint.
The Role
We are looking for a DevOps engineer to be able to work with the head of tech and other engineers to help implement and design new projects. The role will also involve maintaining and working with existing infrastructure. You will be playing a critical part in the company’s products and helping secure and maintain services.
Responsibilities
- Build and deploy automation, monitoring, and analysis solutions
- Manage our continuous integration and delivery pipeline to maximize efficiency
- Implement industry best practices for system hardening and configuration management
- Secure, scale, and manage Linux virtual environments
- Develop and maintain solutions for operational administration, system/data backup, disaster recovery, and security/performance monitoring
Desired skills and experience
- Experience using AWS platform
- Experience with Jenkins integration tools
- Experience with a range of scripting tools including Bash, Python and JavaScript
- Enthusiasm and keenest to improve
