Role: DevOps Engineer
Location: Glasgow (Hybrid)

Net Talent are delighted to be partnered with a highly successful organisation operating in the medical sector. We are looking for a Skilled DevOps Engineer who is passionate about building secure, scalable and reliable systems. You will be working in a fast-paced multi disciplined team of software engineers helping shape the company’s products through greenfield development. You will be working primarily from home and will meet up with the rest of the team once a month in the office.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement DevOps best practices.
- Design, implement, and maintain automated security processes and solutions.
- Conduct security assessments and vulnerability assessments to identify and mitigate potential risks.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, ensuring security measures are integrated.
- Monitor and respond to security incidents and incidents.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging security threats.
- Promote a security-first culture within the organization.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to other team members on security best practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD principles.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation (e.g., Python, Bash).
- Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Knowledge of security tools and frameworks (e.g., OWASP, NIST, CIS).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
