Role: Embedded Software Engineer

Our client has been delivering electronics & software solutions for almost two decades – from proof of concept right to prototype to full production!
The Role
Our client is looking to hire a Software Engineer to develop innovative products for their customers, in markets ranging from Energy (Renewable, Smart Metering, Oil & Gas) to Industrial, Life Sciences and Medical. Many of their projects involve embedded software, some involve Linux, and we are seeing increasing demand for C++.
Key Skills:
- 3+ years’ experience of developing embedded / real-time systems
- Strong Modern C++ and C skills, gained in a commercial environment
- Linux system development (e.g. Yocto, Debian)
- 16 and 32-bit microcontrollers (e.g. ARM, PIC, MSP430, DSP)
- Standard buses and protocols (e.g. Ethernet, USB, RS232, I2C, SPI)
- Embedded control of wireless modules (e.g. Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, LoRa, NFC)
