This role would see the candidate creating new or modifying existing high speed digital designs to support new product features; designing for high speed microprocessors, FPGAs. There would also be designing of battery powered devices, particularly devices with low power consumption & battery management. These designs would be taken through the NPI lifecycle.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Designing multi-layer PCBs
- Designing high-speed schematics (ideally using OrCAD)
- Developing architectures from product specifications
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE BONUS
- VHDL capability/ design
- High speed serial Input/Output design
- High speed memory tech
- Relevant degree
- Experience/ knowledge in telecommunications sector
