ROLE REMIT
The successful candidate will provide effective IT assistance across all aspects of the business and will provide back up and support to the IT Manager. You will be responsible for supporting and maintaining the Systems and Desktop operating systems, Microsoft Exchange and Microsoft SharePoint environment plus general maintenance of all IT-related hardware/software. The position provides exposure to a broad range of IT-related projects and activities.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide technical support to local and remote employees
- Monitor & Maintain Physical & Virtual Servers, Branch Office Servers, Multi-Office Network, VPNs, VOIP Phone System, Building Systems (Entry, Security & Lighting)
- Server and data backup management & server updates
- Setup and configure new hardware & software (Desktops, Laptops, Tablets and Servers etc.)
- Asset Management
- Creating & Maintaining Documentation
SKILLS/ EXPERIENCE
- A few years of IT support experience in some capacity – especially desktop support
- Windows Server 2012/ 2016/ 2019
- Microsoft stack - Active Directory, GPO, MS 365, Exchange, SQL
- DHCP/ DNS/ DFS
- Networking fundamentals
- Some basic virtualization knowledge/experience (Hyper-V beneficial)
- Sharepoint knowledge also very useful
Candidates do not need to “tick all the boxes” – MS Stack, Windows Server, & previous IT support experience are likely the most critical criteria.
