Due to ambitious growth plans for 2024, they are looking to add a Senior Support Engineer to their team to help their clients with any systems issues around their Microsoft Security stack.  This can be a home-based role anywhere in the UK.  

 

Position

  • Implement effective alert tuning to enhance service performance and sustain SOC efficiency.

  • Collaborate professionally and efficiently with internal personnel to facilitate the resolution of raised tickets and incidents.

  • Proactively analyse support tickets to identify trends and collaborate with relevant teams for continuous improvement.

  • Triage emerging issues and collaborate with the Support Engineering Lead to prioritise tasks.

  • Resolve assigned support tasks/tickets within specified timeframes, adhering to scope and maintaining high standards.

  • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of necessary documentation for  Team processes.

  • Mentor Support Engineers and engage with the wider Engineering Team as needed.

  • Conduct regular 1:1 meetings with the Engineering Support Lead to establish objectives for Personal Development Plans (PDPs) to advance career progression.

  • Ensure comprehensive utilisation of tracking and metric reporting mechanisms to support the goals of the Support Engineering Team.
