Despite being a consultancy, the company act more as a heavily agile software start-up with the vast majority of its staff providing software solutions within teams in their brand new, very trendy, centrally located Edinburgh HQ. Do not expect the typical consultancy experience! There’ll be no client-lottery or site-hopping, you will be based within HQ where you can build the long-lasting and collaborative relationships that will make you feel right at home.
Here’s what a successful candidate will look like:
· Good technical design skills including (where appropriate) good OO design principles
· Expert understanding of, and the ability to provide leadership on a range of testing engagements
· Experience of context-driven testing principles
· Knowledge of at least one out of Java, C#.NET, JavaScript, JUnit, TestNG, HTML, CSS, SQL
· Exposure to some form of end-to-end test automation, eg. Selenium, Jasmine, Protractor
· Experience of Continuous Integration systems and agile/scrum working
· Strong attention to detail and the desire to strive for nothing short of the best
· Involvement in open source projects
· Experience within a software delivery and client-focussed environment
· Related degree or qualifications
