Summary:
Net Talent are partnering with an international technology company who are a world leader in customer engagement software. This position will play a crucial role in the research and development activities of the company. You will work in cross functional teams to design, develop and implement innovative web-based applications.
Responsibilities:
- Individual Line Management duties of team members
- Design, modify and implement software features.
- Provide mentoring to junior team members
- Ensure the team members adhere to the company standards through effective design reviews, code reviews and TDD and BDD practices.
- Work closely with customers and support teams to ensure efficient resolution of customer cases.
- Continuously improve the product by running root cause analysis and addressing design limitations, maintenance problems and product reliability
- Mentor team members, provide guidance, leadership, and advocate best practices to the team in the areas of software engineering.
Requirements:
- A degree or post graduate qualification in
- Computer Science or Software
- Engineering at 2:1 or above
- Commercial experience working within software engineering
- Experience of working with complex systems including but not limited to Java, JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS3
- Experience of working with Cloud Infrastructure
- Experience of working in a CI/CD development environment
