Technical Support Engineer - Team Lead 


Up to 35K


We have a fantastic brand new role with a market leading provider of IP video, digital signage and guest experience technologies who help organisations to harness the power of video to engage, inform and entertain.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced team lead or senior technical support engineer with a strong background in netwroking to join a well established Technical Support Team of 4, supporting clients across various industries. 

On a day to day basis this role will involve;

- Leading, motivating and developing the technical support team

- Providing email/phone support to partners

- Assisting sales team and solutions consultants with pre-sales technical enquiries.

- Troubleshooting problems/answering questions relating to your products.

- Writing articles to share information both internally and externally 


In addition, the ideal candidate will have the following experience


- A confident and clear communicator who can act somewhat as a brand ambassador for the business as well as a support engineer

- Experience supporting clients from multiple industries with hardware or software products that the company has sold.

- Good troubleshooting ability, to be able to delve deep into queries and problem.

- A solid understanding of networking technologies (TCP/IP, WAN, LAN, DHCP, Wireshark, shell scripting etc, or similar). Not from a maintenance point of view, but instead how content and media flows through networks of varying sizes and setups 

- Proven ability to act as a mentor and/or team lead
